Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Fullstack Lead (Backend-focused)

to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in

Java, Spring Boot, microservices

, and system integrations, along with the ability to guide and mentor development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead backend development using

Java (8+), Spring Boot

, and related frameworks Translate architectural designs into technical tasks, estimates, and execution plans Review backend code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and resolve complex engineering challenges Design and develop

microservices and RESTful APIs

Manage integrations with

Kafka

, internal systems (BFF, EBS, legacy), and external partners Collaborate with frontend teams to align

BFF APIs

with

Angular

UI workflows Support

CI/CD pipelines

, deployments, and production releases Contribute to technical documentation and Agile delivery activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience

, including

2+ years in a senior/lead backend role

Strong expertise in

Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA

Experience with

microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture

Hands-on experience with

Kafka

and system integrations Working knowledge of

Angular

to support frontend-backend integration Experience with

SQL & NoSQL databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) Experience with

unit and API testing

(JUnit, Mockito, Postman, REST Assured) Proficiency in

Git, CI/CD

, Maven/Gradle Familiarity with

Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

, and

AWS

Strong understanding of

OWASP security standards

Preferred Skills

AWS certification Insurance domain experience

Soft Skills

Pay: RM4,289.87 - RM17,000.19 per month
