Job Description

Responsibilities:
Planning, teaching and completing the syllabus as set out by the academic department of the school
Provide lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
Produce and share educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc)
Planning and setting assessment and examination papers as per Cambridge standard and requirement
Extend individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
Evaluate and record students' development and provide grades and feedback.
Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
Work with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
Organise and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.

Requirements:
Technically competent in the subject matter, Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
Experienced in teaching Cambridge IGCSE ICT subject to secondary school students eg, Year 10/ Year 11 students
Working knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures.
Additional experience in teaching other subjects eg: Mathematics will be an added advantage
Knowledge and experience in networking systems will be an added advantage
Outstanding communicability and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized and committed.
Creative and energetic.
Good moral values and discipline.
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education.
