Hello Everyone, we\'re looking for someone who is passionate in writing and has a high proficiency in English and Chinese. Creating beautiful article pieces, in-depth but not hard to understand for an every-day-person. He/she should also be good in their thought process when it comes to creating a written piece, and should be good in planning as well. And it\'s not all about writing, you\'ll need to know how to recognize the good use of visual elements to pair with your written content. The work that you do satisfies and lives up to YOUR OWN standards, not mine, not your boss. You have to be proud of your work. Not only that, you won\'t just settle for executing and delivering the work, but you want to grow and learn anything that will enhance and develop your skills, knowledge, understanding and most importantly your own confidence. Dear copywriters, As you can probably tell, this is long job post. I actually take the time to do this because I care and I want to find the right person. To give you some context, we\'re a travel tech company that aims to connect travellers (people) and destination. Our ultimate goal is to create a complete, content-rich travel ecosystem and actualize Cross-border Solutions to enable global travellers to navigate intelligently just like the locals These are some guiding criterias to see if you fit: #1 Able to take initiative in planning and researching for content #2 Willing and able to learn (coachable) #3 Good with repetitive & tedious stuff #4 Able to represent the company\'s brand #5 okay with following processes #6 Not calculative with work hours #7 Choose efficiency over perfection Number 3 is because in this position, a lot involves repetition, tedious work, long hours of grinding and doing the same thing. The challenge here is how to be more and more efficiency when you get used to the work. It will come off as boring at the beginning, but that\'s the stage you\'ll have to get pass. Especially if it yields results. Number 4 is because you can consider yourself a core member of the team. And when people ask you, you\'ll have tell people what you do in the team. This also means you\'re proud of this position. Number 5 Workflow and processes have been set, and you\'ll have to read and follow closely, no fancy stuff, but do balance it out with your creativity Number 6 means there will be times you\'d have to work more than your working hours, not because I asked, but because you have to. And because this is a new company, we\'re all striving our best to make this company grow. We have a huge competitive advantage, you\'ll get what I mean when we meet. Number 7 means you can do work decent and efficient without over-thinking and wanting it to be super nice. Go means go. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce high-quality written content for our website articles and social media captions, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand\'s voice and messaging.
  • Conduct thorough research on relevant topics to gather information and insights that will enhance the quality and depth of the content.
  • Generate creative ideas and innovative concepts to deliver compelling and unique content that captivates our target audience.
  • Write and edit blog posts, articles, social media posts, product descriptions, and other written materials with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and subject matter experts to gather input and ensure accuracy and relevancy of the content.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging, tone, and style across all written materials, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to our editorial standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, news, and best practices in content creation and digital marketing to continuously improve the quality and relevance of our content.
  • BONUS: Use analytics tools and insights to track the performance of content, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, photographers, videographers, and other team members to create visually appealing and cohesive content that effectively conveys our brand message.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of our target audience and tailor content to their interests, preferences, and needs.
  • Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current marketing strategies.
  • Continuously strive to enhance content effectiveness and engagement by experimenting with different formats, storytelling techniques, and visual elements.
Qualifications:
  • You have successfully completed a Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Language, marketing, or publication
  • You will have at least one (1) to two (2) years of work experience in Marketing related or creative agencies.
  • Strong personal and communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to understand and process information well
  • Bonus: Strong portfolio showcasing your written work with high level of language skills, adopting brand messages and brand style of communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for staying updated on design trends and industry advancements, including typography design.
