Position Title: Functional QA Test Analyst Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (On-site) Role Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in user meetings, Business Users, Developers and Stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the planning, setup and support of the testing environment to facilitate End-to-End business flow \xe2\x80\xa2 Writing Test Plans, Develop test strategy and test plans for projects - Defining the scope of testing within the context of every release and every software testing level or cycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Gathering requirements, discussing the issue to be resolved, translating mapping documents into test cases \xe2\x80\xa2 Based on understanding of the Business requirement, ensure Test Data is prepared and available before commencing testing and maintain test data \xe2\x80\xa2 Review Test Script ensure e2e coverage sufficient \xe2\x80\xa2 Defining test cases, developing and maintaining test script according to the business specifications \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing responsibility Matrices periodically \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in project meetings and test readiness review meetings \xe2\x80\xa2 Use Jira as the testing tool to build test cases, integrated scenario, defect management and daily reporting tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide Test Summary, Test Exit Reports and signoff at end of SIT phase \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure proper version control and configuration management of test environments used. Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 At least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant studies \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years of experience in functional testing, preferably in Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) domain \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in digital banking, i.e. current/savings, STP, marketplace & merchants, wealth (investments, insurance, etc) \xe2\x80\xa2 Testers with prior experience in BA background is an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar in web and mobile application testing \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with test management and defect tools such as Jira \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven success in planning/writing, executing, and maintaining manual test suites with commercial or open-source tools. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of test process and methodology \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with automation test tools or able to perform at least 1 type of automation testing will be an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive, able to multi-task effectively and self-motivated \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
