About the Role In line with departmental objectives, to lead the design, development, evaluation and maintenance of system solutions in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning.
What to expect
1. Performs business-hours operational support, including configuring, customizing, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading SAP modules.
2. To manage and/or coordinate activities, resources, budget and people related to the project.
3. To lead the design and architecture of complex business solutions and be the technical lead in implementation.
4. To define and contribute to the creation and revision of documentation standards, file design and storage procedures.
5. To lead/supervise activities relating to functional analysis, requirements, definition, programming assignments, systems design and ERP module configuration and testing.
6. To validate prototypes, feasibility studies, functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables, and setting of transaction/control tables.
7. To drive and implement improvements in business processes based on analysis of recurring problems.
8. To act as a technical leader and ERP expert to resolve and recommend solutions.
9. To keep an up to date overview of software, hardware, OS, COTS in ERP environment
10. To meet with internal users to identify needs and requirements and to obtain approval on proposed solutions ensuring effectiveness in meeting their needs.
11. May lead, motivate and develop team members, define priorities and objectives and follow-up on progress and achievements.
