Job Description


Job Responsibilities: * Provide accounting services for private equity fund clients including preparing and processing transactions and other fund accounting output for subsequent review.

  • Prepare fee calculations (management fees, capital call amounts, distribution amounts, carried interest and waterfall) and verifying that calculations are in accordance with the applicable fund terms.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests for fund and investor-specific reports and analyses.
  • Preparation of the fund accounts, periodic and regulatory reports for the fund entities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory norms for fund accounting function for accounts managed;
  • Understand and assist clients with other reporting, such as CRS/FATCA etc.
  • Assist clients to address and resolve audit inquiries from external auditors during year-end audit.
  • Participate in pre-project discussions with clients to define detailed service models as needed.
  • Provide support to respond to client and or investors\xe2\x80\x99 queries.
  • Engage in both internal and external technology solutions to meet complex client reporting and data requirements.
  • Exposure to and learning the latest technology solutions in the asset servicing industry, and driving automation for less manual bookings and providing more value-added services to clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: * Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or Commerce or Finance or a related degree with a major in Accounting.
  • ACCA/AICPA/CA/CPA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
  • An internationally recognized accounting qualification or under taking of such professional qualifications such as CPA, CA is highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Audit, Fund/SPV Accounting or equivalent experiences.
  • Financial accounting knowledge with a good understanding of the financial consolidation principles.
  • High level of IT literacy with strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines.
