Furniture / Interior Designer Intern

design tasks and marketing activities

Responsibilities

Design & Project Support

Assist in preparing design concepts, mood boards, and space planning. Support furniture selection, material sampling, and product sourcing. Assist in creating 2D drawings and 3D visuals (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.). Join site visits, measurements, and basic project coordination. Prepare presentation slides, proposals, and project documentation.

Marketing & Campaign Support

Assist the marketing team in planning and executing campaigns. Support content creation: behind-the-scenes shoots, design tips, makeover content. Help create simple visuals using Canva or similar tools. Coordinate between design and marketing teams to produce project-related content. Assist with social media posting, event support, and simple copywriting. Conduct research on design trends, furniture ideas & competitor activities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial/Furniture Design, or related field. Familiar with basic design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.). Interest in content creation or marketing is a plus. Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn. Good communication skills; able to work with both design and marketing teams.

Working Hours & Location

Monday to Friday, 9AM - 6PM Bangsar (5-10 mins walk from LRT)
