Job Responsibilities The candidate is required to be able to lead a team of data analysts in organizing and analyzing large datasets to get actionable insights. This may include finding innovative ways to manage the data that do not naturally mesh from all kinds of different sources, or from web APIs, to internal databases encoded in SQL. Experience in data analytics platforms such as Cloudera Data Scientist Workbench (CDSW), using programming tools (e.g. SQL, R, ACL, Python, SAS), statistical software, data visualization tools (Quantera, Tableau, Qlik Sense). Experience In NLA, NLP, Machine Learning and AI is an advantage, as we already have deployed or are piloting several projects in these areas. The person in this role is future oriented, energetic, savvy and is expected to play a key part to drive the adoption of advanced analytics across the entire Internal Audit function. He is able to articulate a coherent and compelling vision for advanced, data analytics, machine learning and AI. We have a Technology & Innovation Lab for R&D on cyber security technologies, providing a virtualized test bed for mock environment simulations. The lab will also provide a platform for complex data analytics experimentation to develop visualization-driven techniques in a safe and secure environment. We are committed to extensive training and on the job learning for IA staff in order to develop our talent to be future ready. The role reports to the Country Head of Internal Audit and works very closely with the Functional Group Divisional Head of Innovation and Decision Science based in Singapore Job Requirements Strong Business acumen in Digital Banking and Fintech business preferable Database infrastructure development and maintenance Process automation, RPA preferable Machine learning, data transformation and visualization techniques Possess a recognized degree or equivalent professional qualifications/credentials with 10 or more years of relevant audit/ business/ risk experience and quantitative data analysis to solve problem and able to accommodate a manageable amount of travel. Able to organize and analyze large datasets and good in performing exploratory data analysis for actionable insights. Able to automate audit processes and create meaningful data visualizations to create business impact.
