Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design, or related fields.
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
• 1+ years of game testing experience, familiar with game development processes and common testing methods (e.g., black-box/white-box testing).
• Passion for the gaming industry, with in-depth experience in mainstream game genres and the ability to quickly grasp game logic.
• Strong analytical skills and patience, capable of meticulously identifying hidden issues.
• Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Redmine, TestRail, ZenTao) and version control tools (Git/SVN).
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, adaptable to fast-paced project development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automated testing (e.g., Unity Test Framework, Lua scripting automation).
• Basic programming knowledge (Python/Lua/C#, etc.), able to write simple test scripts.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., PerfDog, Unity Profiler, UWA GOT) or security testing experience.
• Experience in international game localization testing (e.g., language and cultural adaptation testing).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality testing of game products, including functional testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, regression testing, etc., to ensure the game meets design standards and user experience requirements.
• Write test cases, execute test plans, and submit detailed bug reports (Bug Report) based on project requirements, tracking issues until resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, providing improvement suggestions from a testing perspective to mitigate potential risks.
• Assist the development team in reproducing and troubleshooting issues to facilitate efficient bug resolution.
• Conduct adaptability testing for specific platforms (PC/mobile/console), including devices, operating systems, and network environments.
• Participate in the development and optimization of automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency (familiarity with Python/Lua scripting is a plus).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, integrating automated testing into the development workflow (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Stay updated on competitor testing standards and industry methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
