Job Description

1. Landscape Maintenance

Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf. Pruning, trimming, and shaping plants. Weeding, mulching, fertilising, and watering. Maintaining garden beds, lawns, and public landscaping.

2. Plant Care & Health Management

Diagnosing plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies. Applying pesticides and fertilisers safely and correctly. Monitoring soil quality and plant health.

3. Garden & Landscape Design (Basic to Intermediate)

Creating simple garden layouts and planting plans. Selecting suitable plants based on climate, soil, and environment. Assisting landscape architects in site planning.

4. Nursery & Greenhouse Work

Propagating plants (cuttings, seeds, grafting). Maintaining nursery stock. Managing irrigation and climate controls.

5. Equipment Handling

Operating machinery like mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters. Basic maintenance of gardening equipment.

6. Irrigation System Installation & Maintenance

Installing drip or sprinkler systems. Inspecting and repairing faulty irrigation lines or timers.

7. Environmental & Sustainability Tasks

Composting and soil improvement. Water conservation practices. Maintaining eco-friendly gardens like herb/vegetable plots.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Horticulture and any relevant course. Good communication skills and time management skills. Willing to work in a team and follow instructions given. Able to work extra hours when required. Having positive attitude, with friendly and outgoing personality. Able to commence work in November Location: Kuala Lumpur
