About the role

As the Global Business Services (GBS) Employee Life Cycle Manager for Europe, you will play an essential role in spearheading the development and enhancement of our employees\' journey within the organization in the moments that matter to them. This multifaceted role requires expertise in developing and mentoring team members, optimizing processes, and fostering effective relationships with different stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a keen focus on creating a positive and impactful employee experience.

Key responsibilities

Nurturing People

  • Design and support robust programs for employee development, including training initiatives, mentorship
and career progression. * Provide leadership and guidance to the ELC team (Executives and Specialists) on the emerging strategy for HR case management, HR Support and administration on our journey to become a \xe2\x80\x9cBest in Class\xe2\x80\x9d service centre, continuously improving employee experience and making it easier for our People.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth by identifying and leveraging individual strengths within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of employee development programs with organizational goals.
  • Creating and leading a high performing team to achieve KPI/SLA targets and deliver outstanding operational results.
  • Being able to drive talent and performance through setting clear objectives, managing performance and creating opportunities for the team.
Optimizing Processes
  • Lead the assessment and enhancement of end-to-end employee life cycle processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in HR processes, using data analytics to identify areas for process improvement, measure key performance indicators, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with HRE/HRIS teams to integrate technology solutions that streamline HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Owning the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan for the continued operation of all HR support services and contact levels in countries under your domain in case of unforeseen emergencies.
  • Lead the simplification and standardisation of ways of working and processes based on industry leading practices.
  • Champion a customer focused, efficient and cost-effective function with quick turnaround through optimal use of technology, automation and lean processes.
Engaging Partner
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels, including executives and department heads, to understand business objectives and align HR strategies accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters related to Employee Life Cycle Operations and HR best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy and contribute to the achievement of GBS goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on HR initiatives and progress towards key performance indicators.
Qualifications and skills

Service Delivery
  • Proven ability and experience managing high performing teams.
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality, compliant Employee Services.
  • Deep knowledge of case management and industry leading practices.
  • A passion and interest in emerging trends in HR and Global Business services and how this can enhance business performance and customer experience, including opportunities for synergies across regions.
  • Experience of working in a multi-national and multi-lingual environment, both locally and remotely serviced.
Technology Enablement
  • Advanced use of MS office and other key business tools;
  • PowerBI to analyse dashboards, team performance, trends and patterns to support business decision making.
  • PowerPoint to tell a story and make a case for change.
  • Word to build template documents, business plans and branded GBS materials.
  • Outlook to apply rules and manage folders, scheduling and diaries, build standardised templates and manage processes.
  • Excel including Fx functions, Pivots, charts, data analysis.
  • Visio to create and maintain process documentation.
  • SharePoint to create and manage sites and content, upload shared materials and share and engage with projects and other functions.
  • Previous experience with SAP Successfactors HRIS and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery suite would be a significant advantage.
Legal /Regulatory
  • Knowledge of relevant employment law, and local regulations and confident on training and advising others of the same - both within and outside of the GBS.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy laws, Immigration and visa requirements, Working time practices and limits, Employee relations case law, disciplinary, grievance and long-term absence best practises, Statutory / Health and Safety / Ethical best practise and audit requirements.
Development of self and others
  • Comfortable ensuring all stakeholders are fully trained on correct/relevant user processes to ensure a \'right first time\' way of working.
  • Confident giving both targeted feedback to individuals and small groups and widespread feedback to larger communities where education and strategic improvements are required to ensure processes continue to be effective and efficient.
  • Proactively use problem solving skills to help drive the GBS development agenda and roll out large scale education and training programmes.
Qualifications/ Experience
  • 6+ years\' experience in which at least 2 years in a managerial position HR Qualification.
  • Scope of role - Regional.

  • Employees, Managers, Global Experience & Solutions Leads, relevant CoE\'s, HR Business Partners, Operations, Finance, 3rd party vendors & Regulatory bodies.
