Vacancy Overview General Inspector - Terengganu Airswift is seeking a General Inspector to work on a 3 - months assignment in Terengganu. Brief Job Overview This person will be responsible in: Performing, coordinating quality inspection and testing, evaluations on standard and construction processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions. Identifies and reports non-conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods. Identify root cause of problems, analyze, and develop remedial actions. Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies production, third parties, classification authority and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems. Completes and compile documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities. Ability to work at offshore as and when required. Job Responsibilities Will be based at offshore onboard FSO to monitor and supervise work execution by Subcontractor related to QA/QC. Provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence at the field performing site visits to the entire project. Review and approve all relevant QA/QC documents submitted by contractor. Conduct an inspection for work preparation / pass work at onshore and offshore (on deck and inside cargo oil tank). Ensure all the fabrication and construction work done onshore and offshore are performed and inspected in compliance with the relevant specification and standard. Issue NCR and punch list as deem necessary throughout the project execution until handover. Ensure proper compilation of inspection report, records, inspection test result and other data by the contractor. Ensure all equipment sent for offshore activities meet the technical requirement. Ensure Completion Certificate and Handover is based on criteria set by Client. Job Qualifications Diploma or degree with suitable discipline. At least 5 years\' experience in similar roles and responsibilities Working experience onboard FSO/FPSO is an advantage. CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent competency certificates. API 570 or equivalent competency certificates. NACE Level 2 or equivalent competency certificates.
