About the JobWe are seeking for General Ledger (R2R) to join our client plays a crucial role within Group's finance organization, providing support across various business sectors, including retail and trading of jewelry and branded merchandise, financial services such as pawnbroking and secured lending, real estate development and investment, and hospitality.This newly established role will report to the R2R team lead and will be part of the Groups finance shared services team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Job Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of financial activities according to corporate guidelines.
- Tasks include journal preparation and posting, closing activities, financial statements preparation, monthly reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to meet deliverables and KPIs.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Team Lead/Head of FSSC.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a shared services environment.
- Meticulous, analytical, and agile.
- Proactive with effective time management.
- Strong communication, negotiation skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in Business Central (Accounting Software) and RPA (UiPath).
