Job Description

The applicant for this role will oversee the General Ledger operations, monitoring reconciliation activity, reviewing consolidated financial reports and ensuring a smooth delivery of transactions. Become a key player to lead a team in driving initiatives to achieve operational success.

• Oversee monthly general ledger closing and reconciliation operation.
• Monitoring month end schedule and ensuring the deadlines are met.
• Coordinating internal requirement to support internal and external process including (Month/ Quarter/ Annual) submission and audits (Internal/ External).
• Collaborating with other Business Unit in providing financial insights to support business decision making.
• Ensuring compliance to business policies and SLA.
• Leading the continuous improvement projects including system or process migration as an initiative to improve operational efficiency.
• Developing a strong track record within the team to produce a Subject Matter Expert to support the business unit.
• Providing leadership excellence towards the team including coaching, resource management allocation, KPI guidance and constant engagement.

• University degree (Accounting or Finance)
• Professional qualification of ACCA, CIMA, CPA or similar is a plus.
• 4 - 8 years of professional experience
• At least 2 years of shared services experience
• Advanced knowledge in ERP system - SAP would be an added advantage
• Excellent leadership and people management experience
