Oversees financial operations, planning and compliance to ensure the university's financial health and sustainability.
Job description:
Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Monitor cash flow and optimize resource allocation.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Lead finance team to deliver accurate and timely outputs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA would be an added advantage.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, CA, or membership with MIA is required or highly preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or strategic financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Proven track record in corporate finance, financial planning, strategic management, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in education, healthcare, corporate services, or related industries is preferred.
Prior involvement in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, strategic planning, valuations, or investment analysis would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation analysis.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
