Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in risk management and a passion for the real estate industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading property investment company.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Review, recommend, and enhance investment and financial risk management policies and procedures within our global risk management framework.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in and/or coordinate risk assessments for process improvement, projects, CAPEX, and investment proposals.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct in-depth risk budgeting and capital adequacy analysis for our property investments.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain risk models and reports to ensure comprehensive oversight of investment and financial portfolios.

\xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.

\xc2\xb7 Investigate and research emerging risks and trends in the industry, providing valuable insights to the management team.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other departments to align risk management strategies with the company\'s objectives and risk tolerance.

\xc2\xb7 Deliver timely and informative risk reporting, escalating significant risk issues to the Head of Risk and Compliance Management.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively address them.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the head of the department with remediation strategies and implementation of ongoing improvements.

\xc2\xb7 Effectively communicate risk assessments to relevant stakeholders, recommending appropriate risk management actions.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Risk Management, Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

\xc2\xb7 Strong data mining, mapping, and strategic analysis skills.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors, data analytics, investment risk, and a thorough understanding of the real estate industry.

\xc2\xb7 A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong communication abilities.

\xc2\xb7 Dedication, innovation, resourcefulness, analytical thinking, and a deadline-driven mindset.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, quantitative, and project management skills.

Minimum Experience:

\xc2\xb7 At least 15 years of relevant work experience, demonstrating a track record in risk management.

\xc2\xb7 Prior experience in economic impact analysis or business development would be advantageous.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the property industry will be considered a strong asset.
