About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven General Manager (Hostel and Manpower Operations) to lead our overall business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth hostel operations, managing manpower coordination, driving marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships to achieve business growth and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth hostel operations, managing manpower coordination, driving marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships to achieve business growth and operational excellence.Requirements :

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience in hostel, hotel, or manpower operations.
  • Experience in leasing and tenancy management is required, while experience as property agent is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, make decisions, and manage multiple operations simultaneously.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Oversee all operational activities including hostel management, manpower supply, and client coordination.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor business strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage and lead a team across multiple functions (operations, maintenance, administration, and support).
  • Ensure hostels are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and meet client requirements.
  • Develop marketing strategies to expand client base and enhance occupancy levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, operational costs, and performance reports.
  • Handle issues or disputes related to tenants, workers, or clients in a professional manner.
