• Lead and manage the Business Unit & Core Functions, i.e. SEB Power, SESCO, Sarawak Energy Resource, Project Delivery, and relevant Corporate Functions, if applicable.
• Apply a risk-based approach to the audit of the Company\'s activities based on the results of the Internal Audit annual global risk assessment process.
• Responsible for the Company\'s ongoing efforts to improve and enhance internal control processes.
• Drive execution of high-quality audits by engaging and collaborating with the Company\'s business leaders and teams across the enterprise including developing a rotational audit plan for all business units.
• Develop and deliver a thoughtful annual internal audit plan that reflects the priorities of the organization and includes operational audits, control testing, continuous monitoring, and ad hoc projects including direct input, insights, and perspective on current business, industry, and regulatory risk factors.
• Support the entire enterprise in conducting internal process reviews by collaborating effectively with stakeholders across functions and teams, including close partnerships with Finance, IT, and Legal.
• Liaise with external auditors and advisors to continuously improve the audit processes and interface with the companies\' leadership and Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
• Develop skill pool competence and talent development of the IA team.
• Strengthen IA Corporate Governance & Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Control.
• Enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness and streamline processes to drive cost optimization.
• Assess and evaluate broader risk coverage and be proactive about current and emerging risks.
• Assure management and BoD on the effectiveness and efficiency of business units.
• Transform IA from value preservers to value creators.

• Design and implement processes to consistently deliver high-quality, timely work products.
• Be a change agent to lead and drive desired change throughout the organization.
• Recruit, train, and develop high-quality talent to support the needs of the Internal Audit department.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent with relevant audit certifications.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA/CIA/MIA/CPA/CIMA or similar qualifications.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant work experience in Audit or related field.

Preference will be given to internal candidates.
