Our client is a well-established retail company with huge footprint across the market, with their products well embedded into our daily life.With the recent increase in demand locally/overseas, they are currently looking for a General Manager Supply Chain to join in their teamAs the General Manager Supply Chain you will be expected to have strong warehousing, logistics experience within the FMCG/F&B industry. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below:Manage the entire supply chain function, including inventory planning and demand forecasting, warehouse management, transportation and logistics for all inventory available and deliverable to all storesEnsure operations of ambient and chilled warehouses are managed efficiently and operates within the targeted cost structure and delivery schedule, including optimum floor space utilizationManage and maintain cordial and productive relationships with all vendors, transporters, relevant contractors, and warehousing service providersReview, plan and execute human resource initiatives including performance management, employee engagement and talent managementManage the performance of supply chain team so that inventory holding remains within targeted demand, and is in place at the right time and in the right qualityWork in a top tier company in the industry|Be in a position to drive growth, change management & continuous improvement

• Degree in Logistics or related field with minimum 10 years supply chain experience and at least 5 years in a managerial position (experience in FMCG/F&B will be an added advantage)
• Good communication & interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels and meticulous in performing job with high integrity
• Ability to demonstrate a track record of managing a sizeable warehouse floor space
• Proven leadership and change management skills
• Experienced in WMS, AGV and other warehouse and inventory applications
