The General Helper is responsible for executing all warehouse activities within the assigned business line or location. This includes adhering to company standards, maintaining good housekeeping, and focusing on safety and efficiency. The role ensures timely receipt, storage, and issuance of goods to internal and external customers. The General Helper also supports the Storekeeper or Materials Specialist in managing M&S and inventory transactions both physically and in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist Storekeeper or Materials Specialist in ensuring warehouse stock reception accuracy and compliance with SLB procedures.
Ensure compliance with established procedures and company standards for effective control over physical receiving flow and storage.
Implement required documentation and labeling per company standards and local requirements.
Assist in maintaining timely input to the WMS and ensure accurate stock transaction records.
Support in executing the following processes:
Materials Receiving Process:
Shipment checking, validation, and performing goods reception in WMS.
Material Picking:
Pick materials required by operations and perform goods issue in WMS.
Inventory Counts:
Perform cycle count and physical count as needed.
Field Material Transfer (FMT):
Pick and pack materials for transfer to other SLB locations.
Bin Management:
Bin creation and assignment.
New Part Requests:
Handle new part creation requests.
Comply with applicable company policies, including finance, personnel, and QHSE.
Perform other duties as assigned.
