Job Title:Generalist, HR:The Role : HR GeneralistThe HR Generalist will undertake a wide range of HR tasks and provide support in all functional areas of human resources and daily operations. The goal is to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of the HR department while striving to effectively maximize its overall value to the company. The position will be based in our Manufacturing plant in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.In this role you will:Responsible for the areas of human resources which includes but not limited to compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, training development, records management, and audit compliance.Performs a variety of electronic forms related to the documentation of HR-related actions, including employment status changes, employee terminations, compensation changes and updates in the internal HRIS (Workday).Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives, activities, and process efficiency.Preserving historical HR records through the design of a filing and retrieval system and maintaining of past and current records.Generates a broad range of letters relating to employees, including those issued to outside organizations for certification, health screening, bank loans, and other ad hoc requests.Generate purchase orders and requisitions in the Ariba system for ad hoc requests, health screening, insurance, and employee activity-related purposes.Supporting in the organizing of branding and employee engagement programs.Providing assistance with the coordination of training for employees and keeping records of documents in learning management systems.Providing assistance with tasks related to audit compliance.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Human Resources related.At least one (1) year of experience working in human resources. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Having experience working for a multinational firm is an added benefit.The ability to work with processes and discover ways to make them more standardized and efficient.Knowledge of standard policies and practices in human resources.Communication skills - constant interactions with junior employees, management, and stakeholders throughout the business.Familiarity with HRIS (Workday) and Microsoft Office will be preferred.Interpersonal skills - must be a helpful, calm and professional individual, have strong time management skills, have an ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects, have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated working under minimal supervision, be proactive going beyond the call of duty, and demonstrate calmness during times of uncertainty.Be a likeable and approachable individual that people are comfortable forwarding concerns to and seeking advice from, working effectively with staff at all levels within the business.Your success will be measured by:Work as a team member and with individuals of various levels.Dedication and commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes.Accountable for finishing assigned work and carrying out duties in a trustworthy and honest manner.Creative and innovative in handling problems and finding solutions.
