Generator Mechanic
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Setting up new generators and related electrical and mechanical equipment.
Conducting routine checks, preventative maintenance, and testing to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical issues, including fuel systems, electronic controls, and engines.
Performing load bank tests, voltage checks, and other tests to verify proper functionality before and after repairs.
Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and equipment inventory.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Expertise in identifying and troubleshooting issues in various generator systems.
Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical codes and the ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Typically requires a high school diploma, a technical program in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to find solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
