You provide guidance to team members and/or execute technical tasks yourself depending on the situation. Structuring the day of the team, ensuring timely, and safe implementation of tasks with the required quality level in alignment with the overall project objectives are key aspects of your work. Throughout the day, you will communicate with project managers, outage managers, other engineers, Service Engineering, and customers to coordinate tasks, resolve technical issues, and ensure that the Generator activities are completed. Providing support during planning of service activities, documentation and reporting as well as participation in lessons learned activities.Aside from on-site activities, you may be involved in development activities to explore technologies to improve efficiency and quality in your field. You will be working closely with the tooling facilities for maintenance of the Generator tools, ensuring that the tooling is in proper working condition and quality. Safety is a constant consideration throughout your day, ensuring that all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices to minimize the risk of accidents or hazards in the workplace.How You\'ll Make an Impact\xc2\xb7 Implement scheduled and unscheduled Generator Maintenance activities, overhaul, repair, modification, and upgrade within the duration, resource allocation, spare parts, reporting, quality and HSE.\xc2\xb7 Review, inspect the required standard and special tooling and equipment during on site outage preparation phase.\xc2\xb7 Arrange, coordinate, and control material and parts handling, logistics, internal resources, and subcontractor resource activities on site for the relevant area of activity.\xc2\xb7 Prepare daily shift activities, co-ordinate with adjacent equipment maintenance activities, ensure clear shift handover with peers, lead, and communicate clearly on job requirements to personnel and other relevant stakeholders.\xc2\xb7 Perform troubleshooting for all Generator and auxiliary system and equipment, support Steam Turbine and/or Gas Turbine maintenance activities as required.\xc2\xb7 Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of check sheets, spare parts list, daily shift activities, status report, field reports to the required quality on assembly/ disassembly activities during all outages.\xc2\xb7 Actively support with outage planning activities with project engineers, project managers, tooling facilities engineers, outage manager and HSE professional.\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance, training and mentoring for the development and cross-skilling of Siemens Energy Work force and sub-contractors.\xc2\xb7 Actively implement creative problem solving of technical issues within own area of responsibility in alignment with Site and Project Management and applicable QHSE standards and actively support the continuous improvement of tools, equipment, technical processes for Siemens Energy outage execution.What You Bring\xc2\xb7 Diploma/ bachelor\'s degree in a technical discipline\xc2\xb7 8-10 years working experience in power generation industry as a Generator Supervisor, preferably on Siemens Energy Generators\xc2\xb7 Profound skills and experience in general mechanical maintenance as well as solid competence in maintenance of electrical power generation equipment and willingness to continuously work hands-on under time pressure and in difficult conditions.\xc2\xb7 Additional experience in Generator winding repair, Generator Auxiliary systems maintenance and/or Generator New Installation are beneficial.\xc2\xb7 Able to read, understand and independently work to drawings, specifications, and unit conversions in accordance with international codes and standards.\xc2\xb7 Good English language skills both verbally and written, having further language skills is a plus.\xc2\xb7 Good level of digital literacy, confident user of relevant IT-applications (Microsoft Office).\xc2\xb7 Pro-active, problem solving and ready to work attitude, readiness to take additional tasks to improve the Status Quo if needed.\xc2\xb7 Creative, livelong learner thriving to generate better solutions for technical issues at all times based on profound technical competence and own ingenuity.\xc2\xb7 Good communication and ability to work independently or with multinational teams, in shift rotation with flexible hours.\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of HSE and Quality requirements and standards in the related field of work.\xc2\xb7 Willing to work and travel independently and extensively.About the TeamOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
