Job Title: Genesys Junior Developer (JavaScript / React JS)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to join our Genesys development team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in JavaScript and React JS, and a keen interest in customer experience platforms. You will work closely with senior developers to build, maintain, and enhance Genesys-based applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and customization of Genesys applications using JavaScript and React JS. Build responsive and user-friendly UI components for customer engagement platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, and product managers. Integrate front-end components with Genesys APIs and backend services. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely fixes. Stay updated with the latest trends in Genesys, JavaScript, and React development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in front-end development. Proficiency in JavaScript and basic understanding of React JS. Familiarity with RESTfuful APIs and asynchronous programming. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Genesys Cloud CX or Genesys Engage platforms. Experience with Redux or other state management libraries. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
