Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens is comprised of Tenby International School Setia Eco Gardens which offers a British education up to the IGCSE level, and Sekolah Tenby Setia Eco Gardens which offers the Malaysian National Curriculum at the Secondary level. ISP in Malaysia ISP operates Asia Pacific Schools, Straits International Schools and Tenby Schools where we are strategically located covering the Klang Valley, Perak, Penang and Johor within Malaysia. This position will commence in August 2024. You will teach Geography, the IGCSE syllabus. You will be supported by strong leadership, systems, and an outstanding professional development program. The ideal candidate is one who is resourceful and innovative in their teaching approach. You are important in maintaining a high standard of teaching, inspiring the students to be actively interested in the subjects, and continuing to drive up performance. ISP Teacher Key Responsibilities Follow the policies and practices that reflect the school\'s commitment to high achievement, amazing learning, and effective feedback Establish a clear understanding of the importance and role of Geography in contributing to pupil\'s spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical development, and in preparing students for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of the modern world Use data effectively to identify pupils who are underachieving in the subject and, where necessary, create and implement effective plans of action to support those pupils To work effectively as a Form Tutor as part of a designated Year Team Skills, Qualifications, And Experience Appropriate degree and teaching qualification e.g. Bachelor\'s Degree with a teaching qualification, PGDT/PGDE/PGCEi/Diploma in Education OR relevant degree. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience required preferably in a private national school context covering IGCSE Curriculum or equivalent. Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Highly responsible, dedicated, hardworking, and a team player.
