The opportunity Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) is the fastest growing practice within Assurance and is focused on helping sustainability leaders (including the CSO and CFO) address the growing pressures of sustainability environmental, health and safety (EHS) and climate risks, as well as addressing the evolving stakeholder concerns within each of these areas. CCaSS teams help clients to respond to these challenges by helping them to understand and evaluate the broader value impacts and outcomes of sustainability identify opportunities and support the reporting of nonfinancial performance risks to stakeholders. As part of Communications and Engagement within the Global Assurance BMC team, you will work closely with the CCaSS BMC program managers, CCaSS professionals, communication and engagement colleagues and our broader EY sustainability team to lead on communications and engagement as part of an integrated the Global CCaSS BMC program. Collaborating closely with senior service line leaders, program leaders and subject matter experts, you will support in-market, transformation and culture-building programs that will create awareness and understanding and help drive action. While you will develop CCaSS communications strategies and plans, you will also source, write, edit and distribute material across multiple channels that will resonate within all levels of the Firm. In addition, you will be an advocate for the teams you support, as the outputs from this role will influence our perception in the market and the way EY people worldwide think, feel and act. The role will report to and work with our Global Assurance Communications and Engagement Leader. Your key responsibilities In this role you will play an important part in the ongoing success of the Global CCaSS practice. You will be responsible for supporting the development of a compelling communications and engagement strategy to ignite and unite a fast-growing CCaSS practice and to educate and engage the wider EY community on CCaSS's purpose, vision and impact. Your key responsibilities include: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on BMC, sustainability and Assurance issues, trends and long-term implications for EY's brand strategy generally and its Communications and Engagement approach in particular Develop strong 'trusted advisor' relationships with CCaSS leadership, and the wider EY Sustainability and Global Assurance network, and the wider BMC team globally Develop and execute innovative and creative communication plans aligned to CCaSS global strategic priorities Collaborate closely with the wider team to support the development and continuous improvement of the core set of Assurance BMC communications strategies, enablement tools and channels Work closely with BMC colleagues in Communications and Engagement, Go-to-Market, and Brand and External Communications to help ensure integrated activities across the business Leverage internal tracking tools, dashboards and Global Delivery Services (GDS) to implement consistent campaign measurement and reporting for regular evaluation of communication strategies. To qualify for the role you must have Bachelor's degree (or equivalent area of study or experience) professional or higher qualification in Communications, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications or Public Relations preferred Proven ability to persuade, influence and respond to senior leaders and stakeholders Strong experience in developing, driving and executing strategic communication plans through traditional and digital channels Ability to balance and navigate sometimes conflicting direction and priorities Proven capability to translate complex business issues (within a regulatory environment) into compelling and clear messages World class content creation, copy writing and presentation planning and delivery skills Driven communication activities to support change management initiatives. Strong verbal and written English. Ideally, you'll also have Strong project management and delivery skills. Ability to balance several assignments at once, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines Experience of working across different cultures and geographies Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex organization Flexible to changing needs and assignments.
