Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Business Process & Business System Architect Owner to lead the strategic design and governance of Customer Master Data Management (CMD) within our SAP and MDG landscape and Customer Portfolio Management processes. This strategic role bridges business needs with technology capabilities to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready solutions with a focus on digitalization. The ideal candidate will lead process harmonization initiatives and act as the design authority in major digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in SAP (MDG, ECC/S4) with strong business process architecture skills, enabling reliable, high-quality customer data that supports key business functions such as Sales, Pricing & Quoting, Supply Chain, Order Management, Finance, Export Control, Legal, and Compliance.

In your new role you will:

• Responsible for defining scalable, compliant, and business-aligned data processes across the customer lifecycle -- from onboarding and maintenance to hierarchy and portfolio steering.

• Play a critical role in shaping the foundation of customer data quality and governance
• Deliver solution towards CMD Business System Architecture & own end-to-end CMD and customer hierarchy processes
• Drive SAP S4 Hana & SAP MDG design, data governance, and global rollout initiatives
• Integrate external data (e.g., D&B/DUNS) and support digitalization transformation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and systems
• Drive the design, optimization, and ownership of end-to-end business processes and supporting systems across the enterprise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and IT in a high-impact domain
• Business Process & Architecture Ownership

• Own the end-to-end business process architecture for Customer Master Data including data flows & domain ownership.
• Define and maintain the target process design and system blueprint across SAP MDG, OneSAP/S4, and interfacing platforms.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy and compliance requirements.
• System Design & Integration

• Design and govern SAP MDG-based solutions for customer onboarding, DUNS enrichment, duplicate management, hierarchy modeling and approvals
• Coordinate technical integration of customer master data between MDG, CRM, ERP, and external sources (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet)
• Drive system enhancements and interface optimization to support seamless master data operations
• Governance & Quality Management

• Define and maintain business rules, validation logic, and governance models for customer master data and hierarchy definitions
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of customer data across systems and regions
• Support global and regional data stewards in implementing standardized governance practices
• Project & Change Leadership

• Serve as design authority for CMD in global transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP S/4, IDISQOVER project, digital go-to-market projects).
• Lead impact assessments and process change evaluations during system upgrades or new capability rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce duplicate records, manual interventions, and data-related rework.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with key stakeholders from Sales, Supply Chain, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT to ensure business needs are translated into system solutions
• Facilitate workshops and forums to drive decisions on data ownership, structure, and change control processes

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, International Business or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with at least 3+ years in SAP MDG (Customer domain), SAP CRM & SAP S4 HANA.
• Proven track record in business process architecture and system ownership in large enterprise environments.
• Strong business acumen & understanding between business needs and technical solutions.
• Deep understanding of customer lifecycle processes, account hierarchies, data compliance, and global portfolio management.
• Experience working in high-complexity environments with multiple regions, business models, and interfacing systems.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, especially in influencing across global teams and senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience in process design, system ownership & data quality governance
• Semiconductor industry or complex global B2B experience preferred
• Dun & Bradstreet integration, S/4HANA, or CRM knowledge
• Experience with Dun & Bradstreet integration, DUNS management, and data enrichment.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA, SAP CRM, and data cleansing/matching tools.
• Experience supporting digital transformation projects or go-to-market transformation is an advantage.
