As the Global Chemical Approver, you will be responsible for ensuring that proposed chemicals meet the health, safety, environmental, and regulatory considerations for Micron\xe2\x80\x99s Asia based sites.A team member in this role will leverage their collaboration and communication skills to help coordinate training, alignment, and efficiency activities in partnership with the site based chemical approvers across the various Asia based sites. Back-end manufacturing (also known as assembly or packaging) experience is a plus as strong alignment with the back-end process and procurement teams will be needed to align on chemical management policies.You will also work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, and suppliers engineers as needed to ensure chemical compliance.Responsibilities and TasksCoordinating Asia based Chemical Coordinators, and possible coordinating with US based Chemical CoordinatorsDeveloping and providing training for Chemical Coordinators and partner teamsComplete global approval of CEDAR recordsPerformance of weekly check of new SAP Materials against CEDARFoster alignment w/ Back-end (assembly) team on chemical management policiesAssist with implementation of chemical software systemAssist in other chemical management activities as needed, such as auditing of SAP-CEDAR connections, auditing compliance to material disclosure requirements, assisting importer/exporter of record activitiesProviding back-up for US based Chemical Management Program LeadEducationRequired: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree

• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering

ExperienceChemical regulatory basic knowledge requiredEnvironmental, health, or safety preferredSemiconductor background preferredBack-end processing knowledge preferredQualifications

• Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and strong focus on results

• Strong written and verbal communication
