Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Murex/Risk Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Global Market Engineering team. This role focuses on developing and testing Murex solutions, managing risk-related functionalities, and supporting implementation projects. You will work on testing effort estimation, test planning for CAB releases, and system upgrades, ensuring robust and efficient risk management solutions.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Murex solutions to support risk management and reporting functions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities for CAB releases, upgrades, and implementation projects, including developing test cases and scenarios.
• Estimate testing effort and resource requirements for new features, enhancements, and system changes, providing accurate timelines and resource plans.
• Assist in the implementation of new Murex functionalities and upgrades, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption to existing processes.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of Murex solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance, identifying and documenting issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and results, as well as for system configurations and changes.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide support for Murex systems, addressing any issues related to functionality, performance, or data integrity, and coordinating with the support team as needed.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience working with Murex systems, including development, testing, and support.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL for data management and query development.
• Strong knowledge of Java for customization and enhancement of Murex functionalities.
• Experience with AIX, Solaris, and other open systems environments.
• Experience in test planning and effort estimation for software releases, upgrades, and implementations.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and a focus on delivering accurate and reliable solutions.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, and to document and report on testing and development activities.
