Job Description

The Global Master Data Coordinator role in the life science industry involves managing and ensuring the accuracy of master data within the accounting and finance department. This position is based in Selangor and requires organizational expertise and attention to detail.

• Safeguard accurate and accessible master data and internal prices.
• Escalate relevant deviations to applicable stakeholders.
• Full responsibility for creation and maintenance of the master data according to the work instructions in the provided tools.
• Proactively identify gaps in process and system, report potential improvements areas to the Steward and/or Manager.
• Perform Master data mass updates.
• Perform data audits.
• Understanding and maintenance of master data and dependencies: Cost center, GL accounts, Approval Hierarchies, Internal orders, Investment accounts (+assets). Both daily and as scheduled reviews, in line with internal policy.
• Execute manual master data creation and extensions in SAP, as well as generate ad-hoc reports. For Material and Finance master data.
• Analyse MD errors, liaise with business on requirements and adjustments.
• SAP ECC or SAP Fiori. For finance master data we work in Fiori.

• Experience in SAP (ECC or S4) master data management
• Preferably experience of working in cross functional projects
• Experience working in an MDM system
