The Global Quote Manager is the Quote Global Process Owner.The Quote GPO helps the monitoring and control of quotes at preparation, provides support for the continuous analysis of actuals vs quote.Close cooperation is expected with Business, Finance, Project engineering and Technology for smooth and effective processes, tools and communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xb7 Standardize the Jabil Engineering Quote templates and periodically review it with the related departments to accommodate the new technologies new Jabil systems and improving accuracy of the quote.xc2xb7 Collaborate with Plastic, Metal and Electronics Engineering, PMO, Business and Finance during the development of new global quote tools. Works closely with IT/DF teams and monitor developments.xc2xb7 Develop and proliferate the variance to quote tool and methodxc2xb7 Provide training materials for the quote processes and variance to quotexc2xb7 Comply and follow all procedures within the company with special attention to security policy.
xc2xb7 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
xc2xb7 Proven proficiency across multiple disciplines and or technologies.
xc2xb7 Fluent in business processes and best practices.
xc2xb7 Experience managing teams of resources located across multiple regions.
xc2xb7 Advanced knowledge of Jabil Engineering processes and initiatives, preferred.
xc2xb7 Advanced knowledge of Jabil IT systems and capabilities, preferred.
xc2xb7 Advanced skills with, and understanding of quote, variance to quote, workcell variance processes and KPI management is required.
xc2xb7 Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
xc2xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
xc2xb7 Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
xc2xb7 Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in engineering, or Business Administration is required
xc2xb7 Minimum five (5) years work-related experience in a relevant Jabil positions required
