The Elanco Global Supply Chain Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Intercompany will be a member of Elanco\xe2\x80\x99s Center of Excellence supporting the development of the supply chain business process requirements. This position will also assist in influencing the selection of IT tools used to manage supply chain processes going forward and support the rollout of the new processes and systems to supply chain employees worldwide. This role will support the global business process owner focused on Intercompany processes.

Successful candidates will be able to support the vision and provide the technical understanding needed to design and implement the Elanco intercompany business process for the future. This individual will be able to influence across functions and geographies and at multiple levels within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the definition and standardization of business requirements for the implementation of Intercompany processes within SAP S4.
  • Define, implement and pro-actively manage global best practices and act as internal process consultant for SCM Intercompany processes within the organization.
  • Further develop and implement/establish methods and tools for SCM process optimization as well as mentor SCM functions to achieve process optimization.
  • Analyze SCM Intercompany processes (based on Metrics) and develop / implement process improvements in collaboration with the Supply Chain organizations.
  • Support global supply chain optimization projects.
Training
  • Support the development of sufficient business process documentation and training for Elanco\xe2\x80\x99s Intercompany processes.
  • Support the management of the Super User and End User community providing knowledge management of Intercompany processes through on-going training.
Communication / Networking
  • Establish a strong relationship with Elanco Supply Chain contacts.
  • Assist in the development of a community of support and effective user communication process for key supply chain personnel at Elanco manufacturing, EEM, and affiliate organizations as well as network and regional supply chain leaders.
  • Network with other Business Process Owners to understand the overlap with other business processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or economics (focus on supply chain management preferred) or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of progressive responsibility in Supply Chain Management in affiliate, site, global or regional supply chain position with an emphasis on intercompany processes, combining strong IT Focus in project management as well as operational experience.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP with focus on Intercompany, eg SAP modules materials management, sales and distribution, logistics execution, as well as inventory- and warehouse management.
  • Participation on cross-functional teams. Experience in driving improvements and managing change across a diverse organization working with people across geographies and at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Strong business process knowledge of supply chain and inventory management as well as broad understanding of various disciplines and issues impacting supply chain and manufacturing operations around the world (e.g. regulatory and environmental issues, quality control, etc.)
  • Orientation \xe2\x80\x93 Business savvy, customer focused, flexible and adaptable, able to deal with ambiguity. Strong self-management and organizational skills.
  • Organizational Influence \xe2\x80\x93 Using conversational forums to demonstrate and convince others of the possibility that their needs can be met through the idea, product or service you are offering.
  • Experience in complex global matrix organizations
  • Strong analytic, conceptual and technical skills; structured work approach
  • Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Presenting words, images and ideas in a clear, succinct, organized and interesting manner in order to effectively convey a meaningful and compelling message to an individual or group.
  • Ability to deal with and analyze (big) data
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, further language skills are of advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supply Chain Knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 APICS certification preferred
  • Established relationships with key business partners in Elanco Supply Chain business.
  • Understanding of current reporting structures and processes throughout the world.
  • Recognized as a credible and dependable resource.
