About the job GM, Factory, Sg PetaniOur client, a European manufacturing company, specializing in the development and production of Medical and Consumer Goods, has opened a new site in Sungai Petani, Kedah. They are currently seeking a dynamic Manufacturing General Manager to lead the operations at this facility and ensure that business goals are met efficiently and effectively.ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
• Implement and optimize operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Manage production schedules, resource allocation, and logistics.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in alignment with Company Group Management.
• Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities for expansion and diversification.

Financial Oversight:

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure cost control and profitability of operations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals across various departments.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Ensure continuous professional development and training for staff.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all products and services meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Address and resolve any issues related to product quality.

Client Relations:

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Work to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Oversee health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Sustainability Initiatives:

• Execute Company Group sustainability strategy and promote and integrate sustainable practices across all departments and operations.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive environmentally-friendly initiatives and reduce the companys carbon footprint.

Reporting:

• Provide regular reports to the Company Group Management Team on operational performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and present performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive improvement.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the production or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of business functions such as finance, marketing, and operations.
• Experience in working with multinational cooperations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software.
• Experience with SAP systems is a plus.

Remunerations

• Basic: RM18,000 RM20,000
• 13th month salary
