Requirements
Possess a Secondary/SPM/'O' Level certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a golf course or similar environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of golf rules and etiquette to ensure fair play and smooth operations on the course.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with club members and guests.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise on the course, such as pace of play or rule interpretations.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling effective interaction with diverse individuals.
Keen attention to detail to accurately monitor and manage activities on the golf course.
Proficient time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and maintain efficient course operations.
In-depth knowledge of the Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS) golf course layout and its specific characteristics.
Responsibilities
Monitor pace of play on the golf course and politely encourage slow groups to maintain an acceptable pace, ensuring all players have an enjoyable experience.
Enforce golf course rules and regulations, addressing any violations or safety concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service to golfers, offering assistance with course navigation, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Maintain a visible presence on the course to deter potential problems and ensure the safety and security of all golfers.
Communicate effectively with the golf operations staff, reporting any course maintenance issues, player concerns, or incidents that require attention.
Assist with course setup, including checking pin placements and ensuring proper signage is in place.
Provide guidance and assistance to new or less experienced golfers, promoting proper etiquette and ensuring a positive experience for all players.
