Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for Graduate Instrumentation & Control Engineer and to be part of highly technical skill of Wood engineering team. He/She will be involved in various engineering design work of greenfield and brownfield projects for oil & gas industry locally and internationally.
The candidate shall be reporting to Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer on project matters and Instrument & Electrical Department Head (HOD) on departmental matters.
Their job involves using their technical knowledge to prepare the engineering deliverables, solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
Skills / Qualifications
Graduate Instrumentation & Control Engineer shall have a minimum qualification requirement as below:
- Engineering degree in Instrumentation or equal with BEM recognized university
- CGPA 3.3 and above
- Valid graduate engineer member with BEM
- Have a basic knowledge of Instrumentation software and technology
- Have good communication and writing skill
- Have basic general knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.)
- Hard work and demonstrate management skill
- Team work, cooperative attitude, effective communication and flexible worker
- Able to work under pressure
- Problem solver
