Purpose

• The primary role of this position is to perform calculation and analysis to support engineering and design of submarine pipelines and risers. The design may be in relation to pipeline route selection, pipeline structural design, installation analysis, finite element analysis and procurement support.
  Key Accountabilities vSupport lead engineer in performing subsea pipeline design and analysis in compliance with international design codes for submarine pipelines and offshore structures. vDevelop numerical models of pipeline and riser using Finite Element Method (FEM) vInterpret and explain the results and findings of the pipeline design and analyses. vEnsure engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, specifications, procedures. vPrepare design reports, drawings and presentations as per requirements of the project.

vJob Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems, programs) vMinimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering vPrior internship experiences in the Oil & Gas industry would be preferred but not required. vAbility to perform design and calculation independently or with minimal guidance and, interpret and explain the results and findings of the analyses. vGood knowledge and fundamental understanding on structural mechanics, soil mechanics and fluid mechanics. vClear communication skills, able to build relationships across different cultures, collaborative across various parts of the organization.
