Job Description

Main Responsibility: To provide assistance in overall project management for construction projects until the defects liability period. Tasks: 1. Assist the superior in coordinating the arrangement, compilation, issuance, and distribution of Extension of Time (EOT) certification to the contractor, as well as scheduling and organizing EOT meetings. 2. Support the superior in processing post-construction contractual certificates, such as Completion of Non-Compliance (CNC), Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC), Certificate of Making Good Defects (CPO), and Certificate of Maintenance Guarantee Defects (CMGD), from circulation to issuance to the relevant parties. 3. Aid the superior in processing Variation Order (V.O) papers submitted by the consultant, ensuring timely review and approval, and assist in the issuance of Superintending Officer\'s Instructions (S.O.I) based on the approved variations. 4. Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and companies, providing input and assistance when necessary. 5. Assist in coordinating project kick-off meetings and the issuance of Delegation of Power to the Site Operations Representative (S.O.R). 6. Support in the preparation of relevant Terms of Reference (TOR) for the appointment of the Implementing Agent (IA). 7. Assist in the smooth handover of completed projects to the Water Operators, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are transferred appropriately. 8. Undertake any other job-related tasks as instructed by the Management and/or immediate Superior.

PAAB forms part of the Government\xe2\x80\x99s efforts to restructure the water services industry in the country to achieve better efficiency and quality, as well as to ensure sustainability of the industry. Our main responsibility is to develop the nation\xe2\x80\x99s water infrastructure in Peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Labuan, using competitive financing sourced and obtained from private financial market. The water assets are then leased to water operators licensed by the industry regulator, Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) for operations and maintenance.
