Transformation, Technology & Operations team - Technology Graduate Programme

The Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) function is at the heart of shaping the bank for the future and serving our clients digitally across the globe. We are responsible for the systems development and technology infrastructure of the Bank, defining, innovating and implementing digital agendas across functions, especially in client services. The team helps unlock new banking experiences for clients, while improving its operational effectiveness and enhance existing offerings.

About the Graduate Programme

Graduates who join the Technology Graduate programme will go through a comprehensive learning and development journey.

As part of the Technology team in Kuala Lumpur, you will experience a 6-Week Technical Bootcamp that will equip you with the necessary skills and understanding of technology architecture, programming languages, and how banking solutions can be rapidly designed and delivered:

Week 1 & 2

  • HTML, CSS, Bootstrap & JavaScript
  • Conceptualise project mock-ups/wireframes
  • Apply agile Jira usage - epic, story & task creations
  • GIT, Nodejs, ReactJS & JSON
  • Architect component-based UI leveraging React
Week 3 & 4
  • GIT & Bit Bucket, Core Java, XML, PostGre SQL
  • Develop business components (DAO and BO)
  • Rest basics, spring boot, React, RouterRest, API development
Week 5 & 6
  • Jenkins & VX pipeline
  • Project implementation
Thereafter, you\'ll be exposed to a diverse portfolio of projects within your allocated domain that will help to deliver efficiencies and automation, introduce global platforms, machine learning, and bring forth intelligent technology. You\'ll be constantly learning and sharing with your peers.

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to JavaScript (ReactJS, React-Redux, Node.js), TypeScript, Python
  • Experience in working with either front end and/or back-end technologies and frameworks

  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, OOPs concepts and frameworks
  • Possess basic knowledge of Azure DevOps Services (ADO)
  • Possess basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML)

  • \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant disciplines in software design and development or with coding knowledge
  • \xe2\x80\x8bBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science with focus on Data Analytics, Bachelor of Computer Science in Data Science, or other relevant disciplines in Data Analytics
  • \xe2\x80\x8bBachelor\'s degree in Information Technology (Cloud Engineering) or other Cloud related disciplines
  • \xe2\x80\x8bBachelor\'s degree in Information Technology (Computer Networking and Security) or other Computer Networking disciplines
  • \xe2\x80\x8bBachelor\'s degree in Information Technology with focus on System Security, Digital Transformation\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Final year student, or in your final year of study for a university degree or higher, or have graduated in the last two years, and able to start July/August 2024
  • No bond with other organisations or government agencies
  • Permanent legal right to work in the country you\'re applying to
