Graphic Designer Intern

Office-Based Internship | Minimum 3 Months

We are an American-based Islamic publishing company with an office branch in Malaysia. We focus on the revival and publication of both contemporary and historical Muslim authors and literature. Our multi-national team is passionate about producing meaningful content, books, and resources that benefit English speaking Muslims locally and globally - with a newly expanding effort for Malay language publications

We're currently looking for motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our team -- with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.

Working Language

: English (must be fluent in both written and spoken)

Eligibility

: Must be based in Malaysia and either an active or graduating student

: Minimum 3 months

RM1,500 per month

Requirements

:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Basic understanding of print/digital design principles (layout, typography, color theory). Strong creative portfolio showcasing design projects (student work accepted). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills; openness to feedback and collaboration.

Responsibilities

:

Assist in designing book covers, interiors, and promotional materials (social media graphics, ads, etc.). Collaborate with authors, editors, and marketers to align visuals with content and brand identity. Refine designs based on feedback while maintaining aesthetic consistency. Support photo editing, illustration, and asset preparation for print/digital formats. Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.
