Requirements

• Diploma / bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the event industry or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and image manipulation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including event-related materials.
• Experience with print production and vendor management is a plus.
• Knowledge of current event trends and design aesthetics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing and impactful graphics for a variety of event materials, including invitations, save-the-dates, signage, banners, menus, programs, and on-site branding.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines for events, ensuring consistency in visual identity.
• Create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website banners, and email templates.
• Collaborate with event planners and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Prepare and present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on current design trends, software, and best practices within the event industry.
• Maintain an organized archive of design assets.
• Oversee print production and ensure quality control.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input on event themes and concepts.
