Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the cash position of the Group, its collections and committed liabilities.
- Liaise with bankers for new & restructuring of facilities, rescheduling of payments and review of facilities.
- Recommend, Prioritize payments and arrange transfer of funds within the Group to meet its obligations.
- Prepare monthly cash flow report of the property division and group, including ad-hoc cash flow forecast.
- Prepare project\xe2\x80\x99s cash flow statement when required.
- Ensure all withdrawals from HDA are done in accordance with the relevant legislations.
- Ensure all payments are duly supported and according to SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and other requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of board paper\xe2\x80\x99s and regulatory reporting.
- Property sales analysis and executing of SPA when required
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports
- Responsible and ensuring proper implementation of computerized accounting
- Coordinate and prepare annual Budget and Business Plan and to monitor and highlight the company\'s performance through a system of budgetary control
- Monitor projects development costs to ensure all costs are within control through regular review of project costing and feasibility study and highlight to Management on cost variance
- Ensure compliance of all statutory and legal requirement such as, generally accepted accounting principles/standards, FRSs, Bursa Listing Requirements, Income Tax Act, Companies Act etc
- Review financial work policies, processes, and procedures as and when required to comply with the Groups objectives. Monitor daily cashflow requirements of the company and recommend necessary actions to Management
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents,& other relevant external business partners and ensure tax computations of the company are prepared for submission to Inland Revenue in accordance to statutory requirement
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Top Management.
