Role Summary: This role provides managerial exposures to the Group FP&A cost and productivity activities through monthly close reporting, forecasting and delivering the budget for the Experian, as well as contributing to the Group FP&A projects. The role provides an excellent opportunity:

• to work within the Group Finance function for a listed public (FTSE50) company,
• gain reporting and analysis experience, working on a variety of different processes
• Partner with finance teams across Experian globally
• Develop reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the global finance processes
• Interact regularly with Group FP&A and Global Finance leadership team

About the role: FP&A activities

• Oversees the month-end close, monthly forecast and yearly budget activities for the Central cost team.
• Understanding of financial processes, identify process improvement and digitalisation initiatives
• Design, develop and execute the required analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods through data solutions
• Design and create synergised reports using innovative platforms
• Monitoring and development of projects using agile methodologies
• Manage the expectation of the finance users in using various systems
• Actively involved in global month-end reporting and forecasting processes
• Work closely with the regional and group finance teams to ensure global month reporting and forecasting requirements are met (including data quality)
• Review month-end reporting and forecast & reporting packs
• Assist in Budget preparation activities, Half Year Review and Quarterly Performance Reviews
• Ensure integrity (data quality check & assurance) of all the data in global financial reporting system
• Drive continuous process improvement with focus on accuracy, automation and standardisation.

• Partner with Centre of Excellences (COE) to ensure that systems and management reports are properly configured; define and create new insightful reports that can be deployed globally.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis, project work and assist with other team activities, as required

Managing Team

• Developing and managing the team performance on a daily basis.
• Manage Team KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and to make accountability and ownership of issues that arise.
• Knowledge transfer through training, coaching and mentoring across the team. Plan and prepare for Integrations and Improvements and build into objectives and accountability within the team.
• Develop and coach analysts to increase efficiency and improve quality of output
• Liaise frequently with other managers in the team (based in London) to ensure that Group processes are being managed optimally
• Regular calls with defined stakeholder to resolve outstanding actions.

Qualifications
More about you:

• A member of internationally recognised accountancy qualification is a MUST, i.e. CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years working experiences in FP&A and highly preferred from high pace industry
• Strong problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional level. Passionate about driving insights through data
• Experience in Oracle E-business suite, Hyperion and/or Tableau would be an advantage
• Great critical thinking and attention to details, maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
• Ability to work directly with Senior Executives and manage within a matrix organisation.
• Ability to develop, analyse and effectively interpret financial information to be able to turn data into insights that lead to driving business decisions.
• Proven stakeholder management & relationship building capabilities.
• Experienced with fast-paced large volume, dynamic, complex, international operations.
• Strong relationship builder across diverse stakeholders (finance and non-finance), with experience of operating in a complex global matrix organisational structure
• Always look out for process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Cross-cultural awareness (APAC, Europe, Latin America or North America \xe2\x80\x93 preferably in a global context)
