This position is responsible for the supervision of the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Front Desk and ensures that all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.
Adhere and practice to the safety and security standards put in place (e.g.: Crisis Management, APACHE, OSHA). Assist to oversee the maintenance and overall safety procedures of the premise.
Ensure that the reception team demonstrate the highest standards of guest care and welcome on front desk. You will be responsible for the training and development of the team and will drive them to achieve maximum guest feedback scores and increasing revenue potential as well as managing and motivating your team. You will be required to ensure that all staff within your department are adequately trained and developed in line with company policy.
Conduct daily briefings and ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members.
Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her staff to ensure that highest quality service is delivered and department standards are met. \xc2\xb7 Review, analyse and suggest improvement of work flow and standards at the Front Desk.
Analyse rate variance report to ensure rooms revenue control, approve discounts and rebates.
Communicate with Assistant Front Office Manager on all matters regarding guest services & hotel operations.
Ensure documentation of all guest related issues using the logbook.
Sign media and supervise shift handover procedures.
