The guest service officer is responsible for the care, hospitality and service given to our guests throughout their stay, responsibility such as Check-in/out, customer satisfaction, reasonable guest requirement, cashiering with sales mindset in upselling rooms as well as ensure proper communication with Housekeeper and Maintenance on issue or guest feedback. Ensure guest profile as well as hotel`s information to remain private and confidential to external parties.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure personal grooming abide by hotel standard and professionalism
2. Ensure hotel policies are well embedded in mind
3. Ensure Check In/Out procedure that adhere with hotel registration procedure are carried out professionally
4. Perform the necessary cashiering with respect to registration source accordingly
5. Maintains a positive and welcoming attitude all the time in serving/directing guests & receiving/answering a calls
6. Accountable for handling and balancing of daily cash transactions and responsible in proper control and care of issuance hotel Master keys.
7. Thorough understanding and handling of Reservation, Cancelation procedure & Hotel information introduction
8. Handle and controls hotel's room keys, ensures proper storage and sufficient cards for operational requirement.
9. Diligently follow up on emails/messenger(whatsapps/wechat) received and ensure timely & accurately feedback to guest as well as relevant internal department at all times.
10. Know your stuff on different billing payment, invoicing as well as ensure the accuracy of charging
11. Any other duties assigned by higher Management.
