Job Description

The job scope for a principal of a private Islamic school includes overseeing daily operations, managing staff and budget, and establishing the school's academic and strategic direction in line with Islamic values. Leadership and strategy

Develop and guide the school's strategic direction, often in consultation with a board or other leaders. Set high academic standards for teaching and overall school performance. Model professionalism and lead by example.
Administration and management

Oversee all daily operations and the overall administration of the school. Manage the school's budget, track spending, and ensure financial accountability. Supervise and manage all staff, including teachers and support personnel. Lead the recruitment process for both teaching and non-teaching staff.
Academic and student welfare

Establish academic goals and work to secure resources needed to achieve them. Maintain curriculum standards and ensure they are integrated with Islamic principles. Monitor and evaluate teacher performance, providing guidance and professional development. Guide and counsel students to reach their potential and address behavioral issues. Ensure students' basic needs are met and that the school environment is clean and hygienic. Organize school events, assemblies, and programs.
Community and stakeholder relations

Communicate with students, teachers, staff, parents, and community members. Prepare and present reports on student achievement and school progress to stakeholders.
