The Hair Trainer is responsible for delivering structured, engaging, and hands-on training in product knowledge, haircare treatment protocols, and sales techniques to hair professionals (e.g., stylists, salon staff, salon owners) of their client accounts. This role is vital in ensuring that partners are well-versed in using the brand's professional haircare lines effectively, helping drive product sell-through and ensuring consistent quality in service delivery. The trainer will act as a Brand Ambassador, providing updates on new launches, techniques, and hair industry trends.

Location: KL Bukit Bintang - Off Jalan Imbi

Training Delivery:



Conduct detailed product training on professional haircare brands distributed by the company, covering ingredients, usage, benefits, and suitability for different hair types and conditions. Lead hands-on technical training for hair treatments (e.g., scalp treatments, hair repair systems, hair spa rituals), styling techniques, and product application methods. Train salon staff on consultation techniques, upselling strategies, and customer service excellence to improve client satisfaction and retail performance. Customize training approaches to cater to different experience levels (e.g., junior stylists, senior professionals, new partners). Provide in-salon training, coaching, and support at client locations as necessary.

Content Development & Updates:



Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of training manuals, visuals, videos, presentations, and evaluation tools. Keep abreast of the latest trends in haircare, hairstyling, salon management, and technological advancements in the field. Incorporate new product launches and updated treatment techniques into training materials and programs.

Performance Monitoring & Support:



Evaluate the effectiveness of training through practical assessments, feedback, and performance follow-up visits. Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to trainees to help refine their technical and consultation skills. Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to identify training needs and support business and brand goals. Provide expert guidance on technical product questions and treatment troubleshooting.

Brand Advocacy & Relationship Building:



Represent the brand professionally at all times, acting as a knowledgeable spokesperson for the company's haircare lines. Build trust and loyalty with salon clients through strong relationship management and post-training support. Participate in industry events, hair shows, and educational talks to promote brand presence and education.

Administration:



Maintain training logs, attendance records, and certification documentation. Generate training reports and share insights on performance trends and areas for improvement. Manage training schedules, session planning, and logistics efficiently.

Requirements:Qualifications:



Education: Diploma or Degree in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or related field. Recognized certifications in hairdressing (e.g., SKM, City & Guilds) are highly beneficial.

Experience:



At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a professional Hair Stylist or Hair Technician in a salon setting. Prior experience conducting training or mentoring within the haircare industry is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of salon operations, client management, and professional haircare products.

Languages:

Proficient in Mandarin and English. Knowledge of Cantonese or other local languages is an added advantage.

Mobility:

Willing to travel across Malaysia for training assignments and client support.

Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM4500 to RM7000

Working Hours: Mon - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Additional Info:



Work on Alternate Saturday: ONLY In NOV & DEC for year end Bonanza
