Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1)Halal Certification & Compliance

-Manage and coordinate all activities related to the application, renewal, and maintenance of Halal certification with the relevant authorities.

-Ensure all raw materials, ingredients, and production processes comply with the halal requirements.

-Liaise with halal certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

2)Halal Assurance System (HAS) Implementation

-Develop, implement, and monitor the Halal Assurance System in accordance with local and international halal standards.

-Establish and maintain up-to-date documentation of halal policies, procedures, and SOPs.

3)Supplier & Ingredient Verification

-Review and verify the halal status of all raw materials and suppliers.

-Maintain an updated list of approved halal suppliers and ensure proper documentation is collected and filed.

4)Training & Awareness

-Conduct internal training and awareness programs for employees on halal standards and practices.

-Provide guidance and support to other departments on halal-related matters.

5)Internal Audits & Continuous Improvement

-Conduct regular internal halal audits and inspections across production, warehousing, and logistics operations.

-Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance.

6)Product Development Support

-Assist R&D and product development teams by verifying the halal status of new ingredients and formulations.

-Ensure that new products meet all halal certification requirements before launch.

7)Record Keeping & Reporting

-Maintain accurate records related to halal materials, supplier certificates, training logs, audit findings, and compliance status.

-Prepare regular reports for management on halal compliance status and improvement plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
