As a Project Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations on various job sites. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Support;
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects.
Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with contractors, designers, and consultants & DAA relevant department member.
Maintain and track project progress and update project schedules.
Documentation & Communication;
Prepare and manage project documentation.
Maintain organized records of contracts, permits, approvals, and design documents.
Facilitate communication between consultants and contractors.
Meetings & Reporting;
Attend project meetings.
Preparing reports and project updates for internal or client use respectively.
Monitor project progress smoothly while eliminating any errors and fault that surfaces.
Design & Technical Support;
Support the consultant team in reviewing drawings to ensure accuracy of measurements in both drawing and site.
Help ensure design intent is maintained throughout documentation and construction phases.
Must report any inconsistencies to consultant to ensure necessary amendments are made before project starts.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least SPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma or equivalent. Candidates with a qualification in Project Management are also encouraged to apply.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Possess own transport (Allowance provided).
Literacy in reading Drawings is prioritized.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required. GDL License will be an added advantage.
Able to converse in Mandarin (Chinese) is an advantage for communicating with colleague and clients.
Commit to 6 working days per week (Saturdays: 9 am - 3 pm).
