Hardware Design Engineer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends for ATE including advanced packaging tests system.
Defining the product vision and strategy.
Prioritizing features based on customer feedback and business impact.
Creating and managing product roadmaps.
Work with engineers, customer, cross-functional team and supplier to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Design ATE hardware, electronic circuit, PCB architecture and layout based on specification and test plan from customer requirement.
Monitor, evaluate, analyze and optimize test system to ensure optimal manufacturing yield.
Perform evaluation, research, experiment, prototyping, proof of concept and data analysis to determine cause effect of issue and to provide solution.
Manage supply chain for standard part purchase, equipment, system and accessories.
Responsible for overall projects, planning, design, development, buyoff and continuous improvement.
ATE System Troubleshooting and identify the root cause.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
PCB design software such as Altium, Cadence, Kicad or equivalent.
Analog and high-speed digital circuit PCB design.
PCB troubleshooting and root cause identification for design improvement.
Knowledge of circuit analysis and electronic design.
Strong in verbal and written communication skill.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
