The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure quality food production, proper hygiene standards, cost control, and smooth coordination with service teams. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring consistent food quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the kitchen team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with company standards and hygiene guidelines.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely ordering of ingredients and supplies.
Control kitchen costs by managing wastage, portioning, and efficient use of ingredients.
Conduct regular briefings and training for kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and quality.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working condition; report and follow up on repairs or replacements.
Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with the Executive Chef or Management.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, wastage, and daily kitchen operations.
Enforce compliance with food handling and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
Lead by example and foster a positive, professional, and productive kitchen environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial kitchen or F&B environment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
